LM2940T-5 VOLTAGE REGULATOR IC

The LM2940 regulator features the ability to source 1A of output current with a dropout voltage of typically 0.4V and maximum of 0.63V over the entire temperature range. The device also finds applications in lower current, low dropout-critical systems, where their tiny dropout voltage and ground current values are important attributes. LM2940 is available as fixed 3.3V, 5.0V output voltages. The LM2940 is offered in SOT-223-3L and TO-220-3L packages.
